Virgins

There's no better time to eat a potato chip then when you first open the bag. The first serving from these virgin bags are all perfectly shaped- none are broken. As you return to the bag for future snacks and meals, the chip quality slowly deteriorates. At first it isn't noticeable. Then one day you'll look around your plate and discover that they are all mangled and damaged, like the detritus found in a river after a large flood. And that last serving... It's a slap on the face when you're brought down to the level of eating such minuscule shards of potato, a mere memory of their former selves.

I'll stick to the virgins.
