Soakin'

It's official- on Sat 3/18 I bought a hot tub for the deck. Hot Spring seems to be one of the better known good quality hot tub brands. I heard a lot 'you get what you pay for' and didn't want a ho-hum hot tub that we'll be enjoying for many years. So I 'took the plunge' (teehee!) and went with a Hot Spring, the Sovereign model, seen here:

I'm now working on hashing out the details of the deck expansion, but I've got the gist of it already planned out in my head. The tub itself will be recessed, but sticking out of the deck about a foot to allow access to the side mounted control panel. Perfect height to sit and watch the fire on the deck... I can't wait- Dave's doing our deck in the May/June timeframe...
